Can I sponsor a team?

Should you or your company wish to sponsor a team, a $100 payment will get your name on the team’s jersey and a picture plaque in February. These funds go a long way towards our ability to keep the fees as low as we do.  Click here to access and print the sponsor form.

How will I know what team my child is on?

Teams are assembled the last week in October during a skills/draft night. The coaches observe the players and form their teams. Afterwards, the coaches contact their players to inform them of their practice night, location and time. During registration, you can pick up the information slip pertaining to your child’s age group to find out about your particular skills/draft night.

How often is practice and how long is the basketball season?

The season consists of one night per week for practice - you will be contacted by your coach with this information after the skills/draft night. There will be a 10 game regular season with all games played on Saturday beginning December 3rd (again, your coach will give you this information at a later date). The season will end on March 4th, 2006 with championship Saturday.

Will my child play each game?

Our first directive is that all players must play ½ the game during the regular season. However, the referee’s, opposing coaches and other parents do not enforce this - you do. If you have a question about playing time, it is up to you to address the situation with your child’s coach.

Does the league value good sportsmanship?

Yes. Your good conduct (as a parent) during practices and games is expected. You set the example for good sportsmanship for the players, so please refrain from baiting the referee’s, opposing players and coaches. The referee has the power to assess technical fouls on parents, as well as, players and coaches. Should the situation warrant it, they may also demand a spectator to leave the premises for misconduct. Forfeiture of the game will occur if the person does not vacate the premises. Any parent ejected from a game will automatically be banned from the next game.

What happens if my check is returned?

Checks returned by your bank will carry a $35 administration fee along with the amount needed to make good. Your child will be suspended from practices and games until the funds are made good by cash or money order only.

When can I receive my refund?

No refunds will be issued prior to January 1st of the current season calendar.

How can I help?

Consider volunteering for scorekeeping, clock running and refereeing. All help is greatly appreciated and is a great way to get really involved in your child’s team.
